Romain Paul Jean-Michel Perraud is a French professional international footballer. Born on 22nd September 1997, Romain plays as a left-back. Biography and Early Life
He was born in the southern French city of Toulouse and grew up through the local sides until joining Nice as a 16-year-old in 2014, honing his skills alongside Allan Saint-Maximin, Mario Balotelli, and Jean-Michael Seri.
After graduating from Nice’s academy, he made his Europa League debut against FC Krasnodar in December 2016, the final group stage game in which they were already eliminated after losing four of their first five games.
He played for 90 minutes as the Russian team was reduced to ten men, and Nice came back to win 2-1, although he didn’t get any more chances. For the club, he has accumulated a lot of minutes in the league.

Romain moved to English football when he signed a four-year deal with the English side, Southampton, on 2 July 2021; however, the transfer fees were not made public.
