Feildel’s professional career began after he relocated to Australia in the year 1999 where he worked at a number of restaurants for several years. He later opened the kitchen as head chef at Bilson’s at the invitation of its owner, offering contemporary French Cuisine. He was said to be the key factor in Bilson’s “three-hat success and also The Daily Telegraph indicates that it is for his service at this exceptional fine diner that he has fame among food lovers. Later, he started showing up on Ready Steady Cook in 2006 and on Master Chef Australia in 2009 and has co-hosted My Kitchen Rules since 2010.
After working for Bilson’s for years, he decided to quit there and open his own French bistro in 2009, Manu at L’ Etoile though the restaurant closed in 2014.
