Ismaila Sarr was born on 25 February 1998 in Saint-Louis, Senegal, in the NorthWest Coastal city. Ismaila Sarr was born to his Father known as Abdoulaye Sarr Naar Gaad, and his mother known as Marieme Ba.
Sarr was raised at Saint Louis, where he was raised together with his siblings, who include; Papis Sarr, Kine Sarr, Badara Sarr, and Ndeye Ami Sarr. Ismaila Sarr’s father was a former Senegalese international player in the 80s. His family is of upper-middle-class background, with the main source of the family’s income being from his father, who was a former footballer.
After his father had retired from football for more than 20 years, he had moved to other deals and jobs to meet the living standards. Ismaila Sarr’s father held firmly that his sons would never compromise on education for football.
As a result, he enrolled his children in school through which Ismaila Sarr was enrolled to Oumar Syr Diagne School located in St. Louis, Senegal.
