McGill reprised his role as D-Day from National Lampoon’s Animal House in the ABC television spinoff Delta House, which aired briefly in 1979. His other television appearances include Quantum Leap (in both the pilot and finale), Walker, Texas Ranger, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Crime Story, and Miami Vice (again, a Michael Mann production), as well as Star Trek: Voyager as Captain Braxton in the episode “Relativity.” He also appeared on MacGyver multiple times as the title character’s comical best friend, soldier of fortune/bush pilot Jack Dalton. Korsak averted Rizzoli’s death at the hands of serial killer Charles Hoyt. Korsak fatally shot Hoyt’s partner moments before Hoyt was about to stab Rizzoli.
